The Girls’ Brigade would like to thank everyone who supported the Croissant Sunday – a first for our church and hopefully one that can be repeated.
We would like to thank you for your generous donations and the sum of £214.37 was raised.
Thank you once again and to all who helped us clear up.
Helen Keller once wrote:
” I long to write an epic novel that will hold a mirror to society and turn it into a more civilized
direction, but it is my chief duty to accomplish small tasks as if they were great and noble. So I have decided to write a cheerful letter to a struggling friend instead.”
God of all time we often look back on events and are made to wonder how people like Helen Keller and her teacher, Anne Sullivan, accomplished what they did. Her complete works and quotes are a miracle in the making that speaks of your grace at work in what seems impossible.
May we be alert to what You are asking of us to do now. Help us in our small way to serve you here in this place.
For your Son’s sake.
Have a great week!
